A few SUGGESTIONS for ImageGlass to make this amazing product Absolutely Best.Scale to match window width/height Picture behavior change #886.Thanks for everything and keep up the good work. Some customers still use Windows 7 and 8.1, for example, but I'll keep getting it to Windows 10 knowing the compatibility of your software is better for Windows 10 now. I did source this to make Picasa see AOL as. I used Picasa for years and found this solution a few days ago, so now I'm relying on this to make sure it's going to work fine with newer machines. Picasa cant send pictures through AOL email because Picasa does not know the default mail client. I work as a SysAdmin, so I'm thinking about installing IG on fresh installs of Windows and set it as the default image viewer.įor now, all I can do is to thank for the software, as it is really handy, since Google dropped Picasa's support. I'm glad enough to see future updates with nice features. I really like the simple, clear and neat interface it has, but it still has lots to improve. To set it as the default image viewer right click an image > properties > open with > PicasaPhotoViewer. I started using IG thinking it would be like Picasa on steroids, and it really is. I'm not saying that every single aspect of Picasa Photo Viewer should be literally copied, but you could certainly make some good use of what's already in it to implement and enhance IG even more. Picasa has great features indeed, but Google failed on dropping the support for it. So I liked the way IG is and I hope it keeps that way. IfranView and XnView are very powerful resources, but the UX is quite bloated by default. I used Picasa for a long time in the past, so now I thought IG would be the best alternative, as far as I researched. (Plus double-click to reset to center and window size.) The biggest problem is, that the default photo viewer has ONLY basic features, and somehow still manages to be excruciatingly slow even when I only use gen 5 m.2-s and speedy ssd-s with speedy nand caches (not talking about CPU and GPU even). Zoom in/out by hovering a certain region of the image and scrolling the mouse wheel.Scrolling between images by hovering the thumbnails on the bottom and rolling the mouse wheel.I come from Picasa software and I really miss three features in IG: Right now, you can use some "power" features, but IG still lacks some fair improvements that could be enhanced in future updates. Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
